Altmetric Explorer

If you are University of Sheffield researcher, you can use Altmetric Explorer to help find out who is talking about your work and what they are saying.

Altmetric Explorer is a tool to help researchers keep track of online activity and discussion surrounding their research outputs.  It monitors and records online mentions of research across a variety of sources including Mendeley, blog posts, news stories, government policy documents, social media sites, and more.

Altmetric Explorer is not intended as a way to rate, rank or measure research performance - instead it can help provide a rich and complex picture of how research is being discussed and shared, both within the research community and beyond.

More information on using the Altmetric Explorer tool can be found on the Research and Innovation Services webpages
